I’m Robin myers

When our children were very young my husband bought me my first "real" camera. I started learning how to use that camera while taking pictures of our son's little league games. Capturing special moments between our son and his teammates sparked my love of sports photography. Fast forward to the days of high school sports and the desire to capture all the memories for our son and many of those same teammates from the little league days. Knowing the opportunity to capture those moments was fleeting we upgraded my camera gear. The rest just sort of fell into place.
My husband has said many times he would love to have had his high school glory days documented in photos the way we do today. I lean into that, knowing that in thirty years or so these athletes will have the pictures to accompany the stories they tell their families and friends. Even current day, using these photos to market their athletic abilities to further both their education and time spent in the sport they love.
Aside from sports moments, I also found myself with a senior in high school who needed senior photos. I had the gear. We gave it a go. It didn't turn out too bad. Then I realized he had friends who also needed senior portraits, but they weren't crazy about the idea of actually doing them. So we gave it a go. That didn't turn out so bad either.
Freezing action. Telling stories. Candid moments.
Let's see what that looks like for you.
